Commitments FAQ

Commitments can be created by clicking the "+ Add a commitment" button or the keyboard shortcut ⌘+K on Mac and Ctrl+K on PC

Commitments must have an assignee and a status. They can also have a due date, a priority level, and a single or multiple labels.

Commitments can have three statutes: To do (grey circle), Doing (blue dotted circle) or Done (green checked circle)

You can either click on the commitment and change the status in the edition modal or simply click on the circle icon to cycle through the different statuses

Yes, simply open the commitment and click on the Options icon and then delete

The Popwork AI automatically detects potential commitments and underlines them in blue in your check-in answers. Users can turn them into a commitment by clicking on the underlined text

Text that is highlighted in blue and preceded by the Commitments icon are commitments. Team members can choose to share existing Commitments in their Achievements, Priorities or simply turn answers into new Commitments. This makes it easy to visualize and track all commitments.

When you archive a commitment, it will disappear from your Commitments tab which can useful to clean your view. Archived commitments can be unarchived or consulted after being archived. Deleting commitments are deleted, this operation cannot be reversed.
