How to create a commitment on Popwork

You can create commitments from anywhere in Popwork: in the Commitments view, in your workspace or during your check-in.

Creating a Commitment in a Commitments section

When you are in a Commitments section - either working on a 1:1 meeting in your workspace, or in the Commitments tab - you can add a commitment by clicking on the "+ Add a commitment" button.

This opens the Commitments edition modal:

Mandatory fields:

  • Status

  • Assignee

Optional fields:

  • Due Date

  • Priority

  • Labels

Quick creating a commitment on Popwork

You also have the option to use the keyboard shortcut "⌘+K" on Mac or "Ctrl+K" on PC to quick create a commitment.

Notes:

  • Add a day or date in the description, it will automatically be transformed into a due date

  • Tag someone using @ to assign them the commitment

Team members can transform their answers into commitments

When answering the Popwork check-in, team members can turn their answers into commitments.

The Popwork AI automatically detects answers that could be commitments and underlines them in blue.
